ZOSI PoE Camera Kits
About this product
Four cameras are enough for many first security systems: one each at the front entrance, the rear entrance, the garage and a side yard. This C220 kit covers that with four 4MP outdoor PoE domes and an 8-channel NVR, so four more cameras can join later without replacing the recorder.
4-channel or 8-channel?
The same Amazon page sells a C220 4-channel kit with the same four 4MP cameras and a 1TB drive. Choosing this 8-channel option keeps the camera count, adds four open channels and doubles the hard drive to 2TB. Unless you're certain four views will always be enough, the extra channels give you somewhere to go.
Cameras
Each dome records 4MP video and sees up to 100ft with infrared at night, and the Amazon product name lists an IP66 outdoor rating. Built-in microphones and speakers support two-way audio, so you can hear what is happening at the door and answer through the app.
Recorder and setup
The NVR is an H.265+ 5MP-class recorder with a 2TB surveillance-grade drive. One Ethernet cable per camera carries power and video, and ZOSI pitches that wired PoE link as stable enough for 24/7 surveillance. Person and vehicle detection filters out general motion, alerts arrive as push notifications or emails with snapshots, and recorded events can be sorted into person, vehicle or motion clips. Privacy masking hides selected areas from view. For remote viewing, install ZOSI Smart on your phone or AVSS Client on a computer or tablet.
When to look at a bigger kit
The recorder is rated for 5MP, so if 8MP cameras are on your wish list, start from a 4K recorder such as the C220 8CH 4K PoE, 8×8MP Audio, 2TB. For more expansion room at 4MP, the C220 16CH 4K NVR, 8×4MP Domes, 4TB doubles cameras, channels and storage.
